You can make Bath Salts for your personal use or for gift giving. This art can be very enjoyable and rewarding.
When you are making Bath Salts as gifts, you can get very creative with your packaging. Even though you can use something as simple as ziploc bags, but you will find a much better reaction if you use a little creativity. Using mason jars, sewn bags or baskets can create a wonderful effect.
To make the actual Bath Salts is quite simple.
Start with 2 cups of epsom salt.
Grind your additives using a morar and pestal.
Stir the salts and additives in a stainless steel mixing bowl and blend
until completely mixed.
To use the salts, pour 1 -2 cups into a bath of hot running water.
There is no limit to the types of salts that you can create other than the limits of your imagination. Here I will give you some basic recipes to get you started. More will be added in the future.
Unscented Bath Salts for Soft Skin
2 Cups epsom Salt
5 Tablespoons cocoa butter
Flowery Aromatherapy Bath Salt
2 Cups epsom Salt
35 drops Ylang-Ylang essential oil
5 tablespoos powdered milk
Mix the ylang-ylang and powdered milk in a seperate bowl. Add in whle to
the salts and mix well.
You can add food coloring to the mixtures to give a more appealing color
