The meaning of it all...

11/21/2011 - The Holy Bible Dictionary is an ongoing project.  The purpose of this is to dispell some common and not so common errors in the translation and understanding of the texts of the King James Versions of the Bible.  An example of this, and what has sparked the information in this portion of Ancient Pathway is the text from Exodus 22:18 which states "Thou shalt not suffer a Witch to live...".  If taken literally, this indicates, according to the old testement of the bible, that any GOOD Christian should "kill" any witch that is found or identified.   But the term "Witch" is not fully defined and has gone though evolutions as the Bible has been written and re-written.

We will give the literal meanings as well as the way that we at Ancient Pathway, see the terms.
