Journaling for SpellCasting
I can't think of anything that is worse than to take weeks to set up for a specific spell, have it work and then try it again a few months later and have it fail because you forgot something. I speak from personal experience. In this section, we will give you the basics to create and use your personal book of shadows, or journal.
The Witches book of shadows can very quickly become one of those most powerful tools that you have at your disposal. This book, a journal of your magickal workings, can help you to not on recreate your successes, but help you get past your failures. These magickal journals are a personal tribute to your magickal life and should contain your spells, your education, your thoughts and feelings. These gain power as they get older and more is added to them.
These can be store bought journals or handmade tomes. I personally prefer the handmade versions as my personal "power" is infused within them.
we will show you how to make them, anoint them, empower them and use them. Many people will write with a sharpie or pen/pencil while others prefer india ink and a quill. There is not proper methods for creation or use, but we will give you the information about our personal journeys so that you can find you own path.
